Description
In partnership with Charm City Run and Friends of IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Baltimore and the Shinshinim program of the Jewish Agency for Israel, the JCC will host a 5k run in memory of fallen soldiers and victims of terror just before Israel’s Memorial Day. Each runner will receive the name of a fallen soldier or victim of terror on their race bib, along with a link to their bio to run in their memory and honor. A moving experience in more ways than one!
Open to all runners ages 8 and up
Run in a white shirt to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their life for the state of Israel.
• Race SWAG available to the first 200 registrants
• Light breakfast, and medal and memory ceremony to follow race.

5K: $18
There are no refunds of entry given or transfers of entry permitted for this event.

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick Up: Thursday, April 20th, 2023, 5-7pm
Race Day Packet Pick Up: Sunday, April 23rd beginning at 7:00am
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
7:00am- Check-in and registration opens (onsite registration accepted until 8:30am)
8:00am- Opening Ceremony
8:15am- Warm-up led by JCC trainers
8:30am- 5k Race begins!
**Awards and Post Race Event immediately to follow. All immediate family members of participants welcome.
PRIZES
A prize will be awarded for overall male and female winner and medals will be awarded to top male and female finishers in each age category (age groups: under 13, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN
We will post updates on our JCC website and JCC Facebook page if there is a forecast for bad weather that will affect our plans for the day.
PLEASE NOTE: No refunds will be given if this event is cancelled due to weather.
