Driving Directions to PG Park Police Substation

Driving Directions to PG Park Police Substation located at:

From I-495 (Capital Beltway):
Take Exit 3 for MD-210 Indian Head Highway.
At the light, go straight across all lanes of MD-210 — this puts you on Bald Eagle Road.
Continue on Bald Eagle Road.
Just before the bridge over the Beltway, the entrance to the Police Substation Parking Lot will be on your right.

From I-295 (Washington, D.C.):
Take I-295 South until it merges with I-495/I-95 and MD-210 Indian Head Highway.
Take the exit for I-495/I-95 toward Baltimore.
Take Exit 3B for MD-210 North toward Forest Heights.
At the stoplight, turn right onto Oxon Hill Road West.
Quickly get into the middle lane to avoid merging back onto MD-210.
At the second stoplight, turn right onto Bald Eagle Road.
Drive across the bridge — the entrance to the Police Substation Parking Lot will be on your left.

Primary Parking Location: Oxon Hill Park Police Substation Parking Lot - Address: 100 Heritage Cove Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745

As you come up the hill, the substation will be on your right.

Lot Closes: 8:20 AM

Overflow Parking:
If you arrive after the lot is full, late parking is available across the street at the MGM parking garage.

A Park Police Officer will be present to safely assist all walkers crossing the street.

What to Bring?

What to Bring?
To help you stay comfortable and prepared during the walk, here are a few things to bring:

Water Bottles – Water will be provided along the trail, but feel free to bring your own bottle to refill.
Sunscreen – Protect your skin. It will be a sunny day!
Comfortable Walking Shoes – You’ll be on a trail, so supportive footwear is key.
Weather-Appropriate Clothing – Layers are great in case it’s chilly early on.
Optional: Pops of Green – While our team is walking in gold, feel free to wear green to show your support for mental health awareness.
