The DEKA Murder Bike Dead Challenge!

THE DEKA MURDER ☠️ BIKE DEAD CHALLENGE

Hosted by Tardigrade Obstacle Course and Fitness Facility at

Ten Eyck Brewing Company!!!

WHAT IS IT?

Every quarter, DEKA/Spartan Race puts out a new quarterly challenge and DEKA Affiliate gyms throughout the world take on the challenge!

This one is the MURDER BIKE DEAD Challenge! Grab a partner and come try it out!  

2 Person Teams:

• Adult Male, Female, and Co-Ed
• Youth (10-13 yrs old) Male, Female, and Co-Ed

HOW IT WORKS?

Duration - 10 MINUTES

For the first five minutes, the team will complete as many calories on the Air Bike as possible. The two teammates can alternate on the bike using whatever strategy they prefer.

For the second five minutes, the team will complete as many Dead Ball Shoulder Over reps as possible. The two teammates can alternate using whatever strategy they prefer. Dead Ball weights (Males, 60 lb); (Females and 65 yrs+ Males, 40 lb); (Youth and 65+ Females, 20 lb).

SCORING:

Total calories completed on the Air Bike will be added to the total number of Dead Ball Shoulder Over reps completed to compile the total score.

CAN I PARTICIPATE ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM?

YES! Please do! You DO NOT need to pay the registration fee more than once! The registration fee covers your awesome t-shirt! You can be on as many teams as you want at the event on December 30th! In fact, we are awarding a prize to the individual who competes on the most teams that day! You can also participate as many times as you like at no charge at Tardigrade Obstacle Course and Fitness Facility in Cordova. 

The DEKA Affiliate Gym with the most teams by December 31st will receive the coveted gold Spartan RAM Trophy! Help Tardigrade win the Golden RAM!!

PRIZES:

Prizes will be awarded at the event on December 30th at Ten Eyck Brewing Company (only for those teams that participate on that day).  The following prizes will be awarded:

• Top Male Team!
• Top Female Team!
• Top Co-Ed Team!
• Top Youth Team!
• INDIVIDUAL WHO COMPETES ON THE MOST TEAMS AT THE TEN EYCK EVENT ON 12/30!
• Three Door Prizes for those who compete on 12/30!

CAN'T MAKE IT?

Can't make it on December 30th? No worries! You can still register and get this awesome t-shirt! Just come to Tardigrade anytime between November 23rd and December 31st and take on the challenge! Email Jess at ocrtardigradetough@gmail.com to schedule a time!

NO PARTNER?

No partner? No worries! Plenty of us at Tardigrade are more than happy and willing to jump in and do a team with you!!!
