Due to the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19, this event will not take place as originally scheduled. The race has been rescheduled for October 18th, 2020. If you are able to make the race in October or you would like your race fee to be donated there is no need to do anything further. 7th Annual Keep Punching 5k Run, 1 Mile Walk & Kids Races

Date: Sunday, October 18th, 2020
Location: Goucher College in Towson, MD
Time: Opening Ceremony @ 8:00 AM, 5k @ 8:30 AM
Race Limit: 600 registrants

Keep Punching, is a 100% volunteered-based organization that supports patients, healthcare providers, and researchers in their fight to prevent and eradicate brain cancer and minimize treatment-related side effects that many impact function and comfort. Funds raised assist brain cancer patients and families; providers who are pursuing integrative approaches to healing; and researchers who are investigating traditional and complementary cancer-related therapies. Registration Fees:

5K Registration:
$25 ($14 ages 18 & under) until October 13th
$30 ($16 ages 18 & under) from October 14th to October 17th
$32 ($18 ages 18 & under) on Race Day

1 Mile Walk Registration:
$15 until October 13th
$18 from October 14th to October 17th
$20 on Race Day

Kids Activities:
$10 Kids 3 & up
FREE for kids under 3

Virtual option:

Want to help Keep Punching win the race to knock out brain cancer but can’t make it on race day? $15 will register you as a virtual runner. 
Register by September 19th to receive a shirt. 

Send a picture with your race time and feel like you were pounding the pavement with us!

Fundraising: You will be prompted to fundraise after the registration process. Please help us out further by choosing to do so. 


There are no refunds of entry given for this event.

Race Day:

Onsite starting at 7:00 AM


The 5k race will start from the Goucher College Track Complex and run through the campus and surrounding areas before finishing back on the track.. The 1 mile walk will stay on the track, where participants can enjoy music and a festival atmosphere. Strollers are welcome for the 5k and 1 mile walk – for safety reasons all strollers must start in the back. Kids races/activities will take place on the field inside the track.



Top 3 overall male and female runners
Top male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+

Tech t-shirts will be guaranteed to all 5k participants who register by October 11th (sizes and availability not guaranteed to those registering after October 10th). All 5k runners will be chip timed! Participants signing up for the 1 mile walk or kids activities will receive cotton race shirts, and must register by October 11th to be guaranteed their requested size. Course marshals will guide runners at all turns, and water will be available on the course and at the finish.
