Towson Frostbite 5K & Frozen Mile Fun Run/Walk

Put on your hats, gloves, and jackets for a wonderful morning of running and fun with Towson’s Frostbite 5K and Frozen Mile Run/Walk!

The race will begin at 40 West Chesapeake Ave, Towson, Maryland and will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 (weather permitting).

The 5K is a primarily flat and fast, through the streets of North Towson. The Frozen Mile is a shorter 1 mile course. Both courses start and end on West Chesapeake Ave. Both courses are stroller and walker friendly, and leashed pets are permitted in the Frozen Mile and Fun Run.

Both races will be timed using state-of-the-art disposable RFID bib-chip technology for accuracy and quick results. You must properly wear your race bib on the outside of your shirt to be timed.

Prizes for overall male/female and age groups.

Entry Fee

Basic Walk/Run: $15 per runner (no shirt or medal) until Jan 15; $30 - Jan 16 onward; Preregistration closes – January 23 [$30 on race day]

Run with T-Shirt: $20 per runner (no medal) [REGISTRATION CLOSED]

Run with Full Swag: $30 per runner (shirt and medal) [REGISTRATION CLOSED]

Same Day Registration is available from 6:45 - 7:30 a.m. on race day.

There are several garages and street parking near the start/finish line (Towson Commons, Towson Square, Liberty Parking Garage, Washington Ave. Parking Garage, 17 West Pennsylvania Parking Garage).

Age Groups/Divisions

Male and Female Divisions - top 3 overall female and male finishers and age group winners in both races will receive race medals.

Age groups - 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over
