1st Annual Butterfly 5K & 1 mile Fun Run/Walk

Join us this Fall for our 1st Annual Butterfly 5K & 1mile Fun Run/Walk at the former Wakefield Valley Golf Course! This event benefits the Makenzee George Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Makenzee was an all around amazing young woman who loved life, family, sports and helping people.  She was an honor student in the Nursing program at the CCCTC in Westminster, a Winter's Mill softball athlete, and newly enlisted Maryland National Guard recruit who was set to attend basic training following her High School graduation when we lost her to a tragic automobile accident in January 2017.  Makenzee had a passion to help others so to keep this passion alive her parents, Matt and Heather, created a scholarship fund in her memory.  Every year at least one student from Carroll County is awarded this scholarship to be used at the college of their choice.  Help us keep her memory and passion alive by coming out to run in the 5K or walk in our 1mile fun run/walk.  This race will be timed by RunMoore in Westminster.

Race Day Registration starting at 8 AM for $35 with limited t-shirt sizes and quantities!
