Description: The 1 Mile Fun Run and Family Friendly 5K are on gently rolling roads and packed gravel surfaces around the quarry. For an extra challenge, the 5 Mile race takes you down into both the main quarry and the old quarry. While all races are mostly on packed gravel, be prepared for uneven surfaces and slightly rocky sections.

Maps:

Challenge 5 Mile– This course is rated difficult and hilly, taking you down into both the main quarry and the old quarry.

Family Friendly 5K– This course is rated moderate and is gently rolling. It will not go down into the quarries.

1 Mile Fun Run– This course is rated easy and flat.

Pricing includes cotton/poly blend race t-shirt, custom race bib, custom finisher medals, and free photos.

Runners must obey all race official instructions. Runners must follow the course as indicated by signage, cones, and course officials. No deviation will be allowed before, during, or after the race. Bibs must be worn on the front of your body at all times.

This event will be professionally chip timed using disposable bib tags on the back of the race bibs! Bibs must be worn on the front of your shirt and be visible at all times. Results will be provided by Racine Timing and will be available LIVE. We will provide a web link to results that you can share with your family and friends so they can follow your race on their web devices.

Immediately following the completion of the race there will be an awards ceremony for the Family Friendly 5K & 5 Mile Challenge.

Awards include top overall male and female and 1st place Age Group winners for both the Family Friendly 5k and the 5 Mile Challenge.  Age Groups are as follows for the Family Friendly 5K:  12 and under, 13- 15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39,  40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Age Groups are as follows for the 5 Mile Challenge: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39,  40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
