Description
The election is only a few weeks away, and the time is now to mobilize and fight for our Democratic values and exercise our right to VOTE... and exercise our legs! Runaways Run Club is joining forces with the Maine Democratic Party in an effort to get you out and support your right to be heard through a virtual race!
Run for the People! is our grassroots virtual event happening October 12th through October 25th, and you get to exercise your right to choose to run a 5K, a 10K, or a 20k! The $20.20 entry fee goes directly to the Maine Democratic Party, to support local candidates here in Maine that are fighting for your rights and values in this heavily contested 2020 election! The time is now, the urgency is real. Join us, and together our voices will make a difference!
Top male and female runners in each distance will receive a $25 gift card to you choice of participating businesses, 2nd and 3rd place will receive Maine Dems sweatshirts! Results will be updated everyday through the challenge. Cost of entry is $20.20 for all events. Here's how to join us:
