Come celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the Brunswick Town Commons!
The Town Commons were established on May 19, 1719 as 1,000 acres of common land by the Pejepscot Proprietors and which was crucial in shaping the community of Brunswick as well as Bowdoin College and the First Baptist Church. The Commons was one of the first public lands established in Maine and remains a window into our past, a popular recreation destination, and a continuing example of early community planning in both our state and the nation.
The race course will start and finish at the Bowdoin athletic fields, with a lollipop-loop course through the Town Commons.
