Ragged Mountain Scuttle

The first annual Ragged Mountain Scuttle will be held on October 11th, 2014 @ 9AM at The Camden Snow Bowl in Camden Maine.

This race is a unique 5K obstacle course on the trails at The Camden Snow Bowl. There are 20 obstacles designed to challenge you as you run a loop on the beautiful Ragged Mountain! The event will also feature a children’s course at the base with 8 smaller obstacles. This tough 5K offers fun obstacles, a spectacular view, and is during the peak of autumn. This is also a family event with food vendors, a band, and games. 

The obstacles on the 5K course range from a 4’ short wall and triple wall to weighted pulls. The majority of Trailthe Scuttle course is on the 16 foot wide 22 Tacks Loop Trail. It begins by the water, goes to the left by the Toboggan Chute Trail area before coming onto 22 Tacks. The Scuttle course also takes the runners on a loop (single track) that comes off and back onto 22 Tacks Trail on the far end of this trail.
