Due to rain expected during the event time, we are moving the festival and check in area to the Costello Field House. Our 1.5 Mile Walk will take place on the track inside the field house and will not be a timed event, while the 5k Run will remain outside with a slightly adjusted start/finish line.
The timeline for the day has also been adjusted to allow for us to use the field house. Times are as follows:
8:30 AM - Day of registration and bib pickup
9:30 AM - Opening ceremony
10:00 AM - Run and walk start

The Paula D. Hodgdon TrailblazHer Walk & 5k presented by Geico Local Office is a fundraising walk to support the University of Southern Maine Women's Athletics. A coach, faculty member, and administrator for over 30 years, Paula D. Hodgdon left a lasting impact on USM women’s sports. This fun, community event builds on Hodgdon’s legacy by celebrating the past and supporting the next generation USM women athletes.
8:30 - On site registration and check in open
9:30 - Opening ceremony and guest speaker
10:00 - Walk/Run start
11:15 - Family festivals begin (food, music, games)
Stick around after for food, games, and music. Afterwards come watch our Husky Woman's Softball and Lacrosse athletic teams compete at 1:00 PM!
