2026 Machias Blueberry 5-Mile Run/Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center is proud to sponsor the 2026 Machias Blueberry 5-Mile Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Join us as we raise funds to support the Down East Cancer Patient Navigation Program, which provides compassionate, effective support for individuals facing cancer. Through this program, patients receive assistance accessing treatment, resources, and services throughout their cancer journey.
Additional donations are greatly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible.

Race Day Information
Race-day registration will be held at the Machias Valley Christian School Parking Lot, 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine, beginning at 6:00 AM and closing promptly at 7:00 AM. PLEASE NOTE: Packet pickup and registration close at 7:00 AM SHARP on race day. No exceptions can be made due to race timing, safety, and volunteer requirements.
5-Mile Run/Walk: Starts promptly at 8:00 AM
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Begins immediately following the start of the 5-mile race
Awards will be presented following the race in the Machias Valley Christian School parking lot.

Race Rules and Safety Requirements
Per insurance and safety requirements, headphones and pets are not permitted on the race course for either event.
Baby strollers are welcome on the 1-mile course; however, participants with strollers are to start at the back of the line for everyone's safety.
Health & Wellness Guidelines
Participants must be healthy to attend and participate. If you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms of illness on race day, please do not attend the event. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration for fellow participants, volunteers, and staff.
Participants are encouraged to stay informed of the latest recommendations and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health authorities.
