Description

The 2nd Annual New England Multisport Training Camp, presented by Tri It Your Way Coaching, is an opportunity for athletes to spend a weekend training, learning, connecting and having fun with other multisport athletes.

Camp is open to long and short course multisport athletes - there will be options for shorter and longer training sessions to fit your training needs. For the best experience, it is recommended that you do 2 out of the 3 (swim/bike/run), but you do not need to participate in all 3 sports. We will have alternative options for the runs and swims.

Over the weekend we will have guided and coached swim, bike and run sessions, along with workshops, including myofascial release and a nutrition workshop. Accupuncture or cupping sessions will be offered to all campers staying in the house. Campers will enjoy a full weekend of training, but there will be time for rest and relaxation in the cozy farmhouse, socializing, group meals and enjoying the farmhouse game room.

Long and short course options will be available for bike rides and runs. At a minimum, it is required that you are able to ride 15 miles (or 1 hour on the trainer) to participate in the short course ride, and 40 miles or 3 hours on the trainer in order to participate in the long course ride.

Runs will be more flexible with distance with options for walk/run, but it is recommended you are able to run or walk/run a minimum of 30 minutes. Water in Maine may be chilly in May, so if you are planning to participate in the swim, please plan to bring appropriate gear including a long sleeve wetsuit and any thermal camp/booties/gloves you may need, depending on whether you are acclimated to the colder water temperatures. There will be alternative options for the runs and swims if you choose not to participate.

More information on the agenda will be provided as we get closer to the camp weekend. If you have any concerns or questions about the activities and your ability to participate, please email Coach Anne at anne@triityourway.com and we will make our best efforts to make sure you are accommodated!

The New England Multisport Camp is open to adults (over 18) of all genders. Our camp does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.

Due to the nature of the camp with shared indoor living and sleeping spaces, we have policies in place to continue ensuring a safe environment for campers. To that end, please read the following policies carefully before registering.
**It is highly recommended that you are up to date on all vaccinations and boosters, and that you exercise extra precautions in the weeks leading up to camp.**

1) Campers will be required to complete a symptoms checklist Friday morning, 5/26 before arriving to camp.
2) Campers may be required to submit a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of arrival if they live in, or have traveled to, a county where the COVID rate is "HIGH" according to the CDC, if they have any COVID symptoms, AND/OR if they have been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID. All Campers will be required to verify this information the week of camp before arrival.

There will be no exception to these policies.

There will be no refunds (outside of the refund policy below) if campers are unable to follow all requirements.

Refund Policy:
Cancel prior to 02/01/23 - full refund less a $100 processing fee
Cancel prior to 03/15/23 - 50% refund less a $100 processing fee
Cancel prior to 03/31/23 - 25% refund less a $100 processing fee

Because of the investment of time and money into planning the camp and securing lodging, guest speakers, etc we are unable to provide any exceptions to this policy, including illness or injury.

No refunds will be provided for changes to the camp schedule due to weather.

We reserve the right to cancel the camp if we deem it unsafe to hold camp for any reason, or if there are not enough participants to hold the camp. If camp is cancelled by the host for any reason, a full refund will be provided to each camper, less the RunSignUp service fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this camp for?
Camp is designed for short and long course multisport athletes who want to improve their fitness, learn how to get the best out of their training and racing, and spend a weekend away with other like minded athletes. Camp is open to all genders, ages and experience levels.

Do I need to be able to do all 3 sports to attend?
No. This camp is designed for multisport athletes, so in order to get the best experience, it is suggested that you are able to participate in 2 out of the 3 sports. However, if you are a single sport athlete - you are welcome to come! You will simply have additional free time. You can view the sample camp agenda above to take a look at the tentative schedule for the weekend.

Do I have to be fast or be able to keep a certain pace to participate?
No. While it is required to be able to bike at least 15 miles for the short course bike ride and 40 miles for the long course bike ride, you do not have to meet a certain pace requirement. We will have leaders and sweepers on each ride and run to ensure that no one will be left behind. We will also have coaches and leaders during the swim session to ensure the safety and comfort of all swimmers.

Will my dietary preferences or restrictions be honored?
A survey will be sent out to campers in the weeks leading up to camp to make sure we have your dietary preferences and any restrictions. There will be vegetarian and vegan options at all meals, as well as GF options. Should you have any other restrictions, all efforts will be made to make sure you have plenty to eat and fuel with at camp!
