The Portland Sea Dogs present a new virtual challenge for you!
Congratulations, you’ve been called up to the Big Leagues! 107 miles takes you from Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine to the historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox for your major league debut! Your trip will begin on May 1st and continue until July 1st. That’s 2 months to complete the challenge. If you start on May 1st, you’ll just have to run 1.78 miles a day or 12.46 miles a week to complete the challenge. If you want to show your versatility across teams, you can complete the Bigs and Back challenge, covering 214 miles.
Complete your challenge by running or walking on the road, trails or treadmill. Log your miles and track your progress as you go along. Each person will receive a race medal, race t-shirt and bib. The first 200 to sign up will also receive dirt from Fenway Park and Hadlock Field! Join us for the ultimate glow up from Hadlock Field to Fenway Park!

As you travel along the course and submit your miles your position will be marked on the course map in real-time.
There's a link on your Individual Results Page, towards the bottom of the page is a View Progress on Map button that will display the course map and where you are virtually on the map.
From your Individual Results Page you can add a friend(s) to the map and compare your progress with theirs. Just type their name into the search bar.
Map Tracking is powered by Google Maps which allows you to zoom in to see exactly when your are along the course. You can also us Street View for a detailed view of the area where you're current at.
