Monster Dash Aroostook 5k and Little Monsters Fun Run

The Monster Dash Aroostook 5k and Little Monsters Fun Run is a family fun run/walk event to get folks active with some festive fall fun all the while supporting a great cause.  It is a Halloween-themed costume event that will start and end at TAMC's A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital on Academy Street in Presque Isle.  Proceeds will benefit the County Dialysis Center.  The funds raised will go towards the purchasing of two hemodialysis machines that provide life-sustaining treatment for patients at County Dialysis.  The machines will complement the construction of an updated facility for the center, which will be located inside the unoccupied section of the former Smythe's IGA, adjacent to its current location at North Street Healthcare in Presque Isle.  County Dialysis is the only treatment center of its kind north of the Bangor regiona dn it helps to keep Aroostook County patients from having to make lengthy trips to receive their dialysis treatments up to three times per week.  This is the perfect event for adults and kids who might want to get a little more 'mileage' out of their great Halloween costumes or burn off some calories before trick-or-treating!
