Cancer. The word evokes strong negative sentiments among many. It is invasive, damaging, and life altering. Whether you have cancer, have had cancer, are a caregiver, medical professional, or are a support through professional services- cancer has impacted all of our lives.
Born from the successful Color ME Pink run/walk 5K, Sock it to C.A.N.C.E.R. expands on the message of local support for those facing cancer treatment. This is a fundraising event for C.A.N.C.E.R., which will go directly to New England based cancer research facilities.
Sock it to C.A.N.C.E.R. is an event to celebrate survivorship, offer hope to those currently battling cancer, show support for anyone with cancer, remember a loved one, and to show unity as a community for hope. This event recognizes all cancers.
