St. Thomas Mingle Jingle Run 5K & Turkey Trot

Join us for our 2026 Mingle Jingle Run 5K & The Turkey Trot! Bring your holiday cheer and best holiday apparel to run/walk and jingle yourself across the finish line! This year, our Kids Turkey Trot will take place BEFORE the 5K! Read below for more information.

5K (In Person) On November 7, 2026, join us for our annual 5K. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Memorial Gym at 678 Main St., Sanford, ME. The race starts at 9 am and follows our beautiful course.  The route is mainly flat, fast, and scenic, on roads and trails. We are family-friendly, offer post-race refreshments, and all proceeds support St. Thomas School. Participants with the best holiday costume will be eligible to win the "Best Costume Award." In addition, we will enter all participants into an "after the race" raffle!

*Winners will be announced at the award ceremony following the race.

NOTE: Strollers are welcome! If children would like to participate in the race (and are UNDER 12, please register children for the Turkey Trot)

Turkey Trot -- *NEW THIS YEAR* This year we are offering our annual St. Thomas Turkey Trot (Fun Run) BEFORE the 5K kicks off! Kids 12 and Under will be running around the Cobb Stadium Track (behind Memorial Gym). The amount of laps they do will be recorded. Support your child and donate to the link by hitting the Donate Button at the top of the RunSignUp page. After hitting the donate button, please hit "other" and type in the child's/participant's name! NOTE: Kids 12 and Under MUST walk or run the Turkey Trot Race. Bikes/strollers are not permitted.

Virtual 5K Our virtual 5K race coincides with our in-person event. You can walk or RUN at your own pace. Get that holiday playlist cued up and get moving! The merriest fun of our virtual run is for you to complete it anywhere! All virtual participants will be eligible for our raffle. The winner will be announced at the commencement of our race on Saturday, November 7th on our event page.

*St. Thomas Alumni Award will be presented on November 7th and includes both virtual and in-person races. Please let us know if you are an alumni to be entered!
