Vinalhaven EMS Benefit Challenge

This is a very fun, community oriented annual event! All proceeds go both the Vinalhaven Ambulance and Fire Services, and are used primarily for EMT training and updating equipment. Participants can compete solo or with a teammate. Solo participants may compete in both legs of the race or a single event. You can choose to do the Duathlon (3.1 mile run and a 9 mile bike ride), or just the 3.1 mile run, just the 9 mile bike ride and we even offer a  3.1 mile walk route! PLEASE NOTE: the bike route includes both both hard and dirt surfaces; a mountain bike or cross trainer bike is recommended, and bike helmets are required. Again, all proceeds go towards supporting the Vinalhaven Emergency Medical Services! (Online registrations must be submitted by July 12th!)
