Description
Laps for LINK's is a Cross Country 5K race and 1 mile walk. This race will take place behind Algonac High School (5200 Taft Rd. Algonac). Laps of LINK's funds will be used to expand the LINK program through ACS as well as raise awareness of students impacted with Autism in our community. The LINK program supports students with disabilities by linking them with a general education peers to ensure that these students have a typical school experience. The LINK program's goal is to increase both independent as well as social skills in students with disabilities, specifically Autism. Peer to peer supports are the number one researched based intervention. Thank you for your participation.
