Description
Come dressed as your favorite Broadway Character for this fun 5K! We will be giving out “Tony”’awards for the 3 best costumes!! You are welcome to walk or run this 5K.
The proceeds from this race help local composer David Dilsizian take his original musical “Dear Mom, I’m Gay!” to New York City. The Musical has performed to sold out audiences in Chicago and Grand Rapids.
The cost of the cast, crew and musicians to travel and perform in New York will be about $10,000. By participating in this 5K you will give talented local performers a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform for Broadway producers.
This is a great way to work out, have fun and support the arts.
