At the Turkey Trot, we're pretty chill people, so we won't kick you off the course if you feel like taking four hours to finish the race. However, we may not stick around for four hours to watch you finish. In fact, we only told the course marshals and timing guy they had to be there for an hour, so if you take longer than that (for reference, about a 20-minute mile), you might not get an official time. But hey, we'll be cheering for you in spirit.

The start and finish line can be found at the Cook Carillon clock tower this year!

Everyone that signs up before November 1st is guaranteed a shirt, and as of this year (because you deserve it), every finisher will also get a turkey trot medal!

Yes! See the map for free parking. Or you could always choose to park in the paid lots or student-only ones, if you like tow trucks. Some people need more variety in their lives, and we at the Turkey Trot support you in that decision.

Free parking is in lot H.

Yes, absolutely! We love seeing families out on the course. The route is flat and fully paved, so it's stroller-friendly from start to finish.

Everyone loves saving money (another dollar saved means another dollar towards that turkey costume, are we right?) and we're happy to make you happy by offering THREE ways to race for even less this year:

1. Referral Discount: Get $5 back for every person you refer to the Turkey Trot (yes, they actually have to sign up). You can earn up to your full race entry fee back by doing this. That's right, you heard us -- that means you can run the Turkey Trot for FREE!
2. Multi-person signup: Register your kids, your grandma, your friends, your dog (we're not judging) at the same time and get $5 off for every additional person you sign up!
3. Teams: Rally the troops and get together a team of 10+ people and you'll all get $5 off! All you have to do is create a team at sign up and share the password with your friends, and we'll give you the discount once your team hits ten or more.
