Welcome to the first annual Alpena Flower Festival 5K and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run!

We are excited to present an opportunity to race through downtown Alpena during the 2025 annual Alpena Flower Festival. Running amongst the flower installations from various local businesses, this unique race is your perfect way to step into summer. This event is proudly presented by Downtown Alpena Run Club, Highpointe Rehab and Performance, and Harborside Cycle and Sport.

Hosted by the newly created Downtown Alpena Run Club (DARC) we are excited to kickstart our presence downtown with this race. Our downtown is perfectly located as a running home base, with nearby walking paths, lakefront breezes, and historical neighborhoods all within a few strides.
