Description
Morning Core for Runners Series at AARC Colonnade from 6:30am to 7:30am on Tuesdays. Starts on Tuesday, November 20th and ends on December 18th.
The Core for Runners Series is designed for runners to help improve core strength, posture and running form. When we think of our core, we predominately think of our abdominals. However, the core muscles include all of the muscles connected to the spine – upper/lower back, hips, glutes & abdominals. By adding core training, into your routine, you will build a frame that is stronger & balanced and less likely to become injured.
The exercises in Core for Runners Series will help the runner…
- Improve stability through balancing exercises
- Improve your postural stability which will help you hold your form during a long run or workout through core exercises
- Increase range of motion through foam rolling at the end of each workout
