Run and ride to support Trail’s Edge Camp – C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital on Sunday, July 22nd, 2018. The Pleasant Lake Relay, Ride & Run takes place on beautiful dirt roads just west of Ann Arbor, MI. There are three options for completing the 27.2-mile course. You can participate as an individual by biking or running the course. For the relay, teams of 2 people will work together to complete the 27.2-mile course on foot and bike.
RELAY BASICS - Teams of 2 complete the 27.2 mile course together. Teams use 1 bike that accommodates both runners. If you divide up the legs evenly each teammate runs about a 1/2 marathon. One person runs while their teammate bikes next to them. Think of the biking as recovery from the running. At each transition you can switch if you'd like. Teams may choose to divide up the legs how they wish and may choose to have stronger runners run back-to-back legs. Switching from running to biking/biking to running MUST happen at the designated transition areas.
REGISTRATION – When registering you must either create a team name or select the team you wish to be part of.
PRICE – REGISTRATION OPENS 1/1/2018
SHIRTS – If you would like a sweet PLR shirt they are an additional $10 per shirt.
