Event Description

Mental Health Mile: Virtual Run/Walk for NoStigmas

One Mile. One Mission. No One Fights Alone.

Join the Mental Health Mile, a virtual 1-mile walk or run benefiting NoStigmas.

Mental health challenges affect millions of people, yet stigma often prevents individuals from seeking support. NoStigmas is working to change that by educating advocates, building supportive communities, and helping people learn how to stand beside those facing mental health struggles.

As part of my journey to run the Chicago Marathon in support of NoStigmas, I'm inviting you to take part in the Mental Health Mile.

Here's how it works:

Make a donation to NoStigmas.
Walk, run, roll, or move 1 mile whenever and wherever it's convenient for you.
Track your mile using your favorite fitness app or device.
Share your completed mile on social media and tag me.
Encourage others to join and help spread awareness about mental health.
This event isn't about speed, competition, or personal records. It's about showing up for one another, starting conversations, and demonstrating that support can begin with a single step.

Every participant helps raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support the mission of NoStigmas. Whether you complete your mile on a treadmill, around your neighborhood, on a trail, or during your lunch break, your participation sends a message: mental health matters, and no one has to face their struggles alone.

Take a mile. Make a difference. Join the Mental Health Mile.
