Run For the Buds Virtually Together 5K Run/Walk

As one of the oldest 5k events in Southwest Michigan, and as a result of CDC and State regulations, we’re excited to announce that we’re going VIRTUAL this year! The Run for the Buds has long since been an important event for the Blossomtime Festival. In order to continue this time-honored tradition and to support the Festival, we would truly appreciate your support. 

Gather your friends and family for a virtual 5K Run/Walk to support the Blossomtime Festival!

• Complete your run/walk between July 2nd and November 1st.
• Available to all runners and walkers with no geographical limitations for participation.
• NOT weather dependent. You pick the day, time, and course for your race.
• For everyone! All ages! 
• Whether you choose to take a leisurely stroll, walk or run on a treadmill or run for a personal record, this event is for you! This is a great opportunity to support a local organization while maintaining social distancing.
• 100% of the proceeds will be directed to the Blossomtime Festival and will help us continue the legacy of the Blossomtime Festival!

Participation is easy!

• Register yourself.
• The cost is $30 for all age groups.
• Record your run/walk by using Strava, Garmin, iWatch, Fit Bit or any other method (or don't record your time at all---results are for entertainment purposes only!)
• Take a selfie after you've completed your run/walk and a short blurb about your experience. E-mail it to us & we'll post it on our social media sites.
• The first 100 applicants will receive a t-shirt in the mail after completion.
