Description
About This Event:
This race is in support of Light of Christ Academy, a Catholic school that is an apostolate of the St. Ann church community. The race will begin and end in the St. Ann's parking lot. The 5K course will go through the Sanctuary at St. Ann's across the street. The race will be mostly on trails of grass and dirt. The trails are moderately hilly in some areas. There will also be a half mile fun run for children 8 and under.
All proceeds from the Race will go to upgrading two drinking fountains at the school to include water bottle filling stations and an additional bathroom for the Montessori Classroom.
Course Description:
The course is an out and back with a half mile loop done three times. There are two road crossings, which will be staffed by volunteers, and a few turns to be aware of. The course will be marked by orange flags and tree labels. The water station will be placed at the juncture for the loop. We will provide a printed map at pickup. At the end of the race, you will run past the start/finish to loop around the school/church and return to the finish.

Event Fees:
- 5K Run/Walk - $25.00 Until April 27th (11:59 pm early registration closes)
- 5K Run/Walk - $30.00 Late Registration (Friday and Saturday)
- There is a family discount of $3 off per person with a quantity of 3 or more
- You will be guaranteed a tech shirt with online registration until midnight March 31st. No exchanges in size will be allowed at packet pickup. If you are not sure about sizing please size up from your normal size when registering.
- Kids Fun Run (for children 8 and under) - $5.00
- Same Day Registration Fees - Kids Fun Run ($5.00)
- No refunds will be issued.

Course Map
The map below shows our course. We will start at the school parking lot and head into the woods to run parallel to the road until we are across from the sanctuary. There is a short road crossing, which will be staffed with volunteers, and then we will run down the car trail to the lake. We turn right at the lake, and run around the lake to the trail entry. That trail leads through the forest, back to the lake. We will run that loop 3 times total, but on the third trip, runners will not return to the lake, but instead continue through the woods to return to the car trail and the entrance. Crossing the road again, runners will return through the woods to the parking lot, loop around the school and church, and finish in the parking lot. There will be signs directing runners, as well as volunteers, especially at the loop. Runners will be given a map at check-in!
