The Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k is Battle Creek's first and only half marathon. Starting at Territorial Brewing Company, participants will run to and through the grounds of the Field of Flight and experience the balloons launching while getting an up close view of the festival grounds as they are running by. Runners will then continue on the beautiful streets and boulevards of Battle Creek for a fairly flat, scenic course.

Beginning at Territorial Brewing Company, runners will make their way to the Field of Flight where they will run the runways while watching balloons launch (weather permitting) and get an up close view of the Field of Flight attractions. Runners will exit the grounds and run the streets and boulevards of Battle Creek before finishing back at Territorial Brewing Company. The time limit for completing the half marathon course is 3 and 1/2 hours, or 16 min/mile average pace.
Beginning at Territorial Brewing Company, runners will make their way to the Field of Flight where they will run the runways while watching balloons launch (weather permitting) and get an up close view of the Field of Flight attractions before heading back to Territorial Brewing Company to the finish.
Breakfast and Brews is an optional add-on for participants and all spectators. When registering, add the number of tickets you need for the event. Tickets for Breakfast and Brews are $10 each and include a breakfast scramble, two pancakes, a breakfast meat and a short glass of a specialty Territorial Brewing Company beer. Proof of age will be needed to receive alcoholic beverages.

Free event photos will be provided by Time Frame Photography. Participants will recieve a link where photos will be available and posted after the event.
Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, June 30 from 3-8 pm at Festival Market Square, Downtown Battle Creek. It is possible to have friends or family pick up your packet for you. If you reistered for Breakfast and Brews you will recieve your wristband for that event. However, you will still need to present your ID to Territorial Brewing Company to validate age the day of the event.
While we realize it may be difficult for some to make it to the Friday packet pick-up, we are offering a VERY LIMITED packet pick-up the morning of the event from 6-6:30. Please make every effort possible to have your registration materials picked up at the scheduled packet pick-up on Friday, June 30.
If you cannot make necessary arrangements to do so and will need to utilize the packet pick-up the morning of the event, you must e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org ahead of time with your request.
Our 2017 charity partner is Veterans Helping Veterans. Veterans Helping Veterans is an advocate for displaced and homeless military veterans. They provide assistance in the form of furniture, household items and basic necessities to veterans who have gained housing. Veterans Helping Veterans is in constant need of donations.
