The 5k will start at the front door of Sweet Kreations for You bakery and frozen yogurt shop, located at 95 Michigan Avenue West in downtown Battle Creek, Michigan. From there, runners will make there way towards the Battle Creek River and will then run along the river bank on the Linear Path. At the WK Kellogg House participants will turn left, run down a portion of Van Buren Street, and will then head north on North Avenue. Runners will then weave through the historic north side neighborhoods, eventually returning to North Avenue and running back into the downtown business district. After looping around the Ermisch Travel building, the 5k will end and the memorial walk will begin, ending at the front door of Sweet Kreations.

Remembrance balloons honoring both cancer victims and survivors will be made available for purchase the day of the event at Sweet Kreations to line the sidewalks of Michigan Avenue during the memorial walk. Balloons can be purchased by cash only either in bundles of five for $8.00 or individually for $2.00, in a variety of colors corresponding to cancer ribbons.

Packet pickups will be Friday, August 7th, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Sweet Kreations For You.
