Road Hawg Classic 10K & Baja Bolt 5K

About This Race

Run at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base and experience a view that not many people get to see. Our course this year takes everyone on a shorter trip around main base followed by crossing a bridge onto the scenic west side. In addition, this is a closed course, so there's no traffic to worry about.

Live Event and Virtual Event Registration Options

Participants may register for the Live Race on August 28, 2021 or register for the Virtual Race.  The Virtual Race can be completed between August 28th and September 28th.  Virtual Participants complete there race on local trail, neighborhood streets, park, or treadmill.  Virtual results are posted separate from the Live Event.

Registration Fees

All race participants will receive a free high quality T-shirt in unisex sizes (SM, MED, LG, XL, and other sizes available on request). Registrations after August 9, 2021 are not guaranteed a T-Shirt. Race participants (21 and up) will also receive a free beer or cider at the Beverage Sponsor station.

Baja Bolt (5K Walk/Run) - Adult - $25 before June 1st.  $30 June 1st to August 26th ($40 on race day)
Baja Bolt (5K Walk/Run) - Student/Child - $20 before June 1st.  $25 June 1st to August 26th ($40 on race day)
Road Hawg Classic (10K Run) - Adult - $25 before June 1st.  $30 June 1st to August 26th ($40 on race day)
Road Hawg Classic (10K Run) - Student/Child - $20 before June 1st.  $25 June 1st to August 26th ($40 on race day)
 

Events and Times

8:00 am to 8:45 am - Packet pickup and race day registration
9:00 am - Race begins. We will be staggering the start to allow the 10K runners to finish a little closer to the 5K runners as well as keep the group size at the starting line a little smaller.
10:00 am - Last runner in followed by awards

Event Location

Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, 3367 W. Dickman Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037 

**Take I-94 to the Helmer Road exit, proceed north to Dickman Road, turn left onto Dickman Road. Approximately ½ mile down the road on your left will be the entrance to the base. Ensure you have a valid ID with you. Random searches of vehicles are also possible, weapons and drugs are prohibited. Be prepared for delays, so come early.

Timing & Scoring

Timing and scoring will be done by Mac's Sports Timing using ChronoTrack technology.  Results will be posted immediately after the event. Go to www.macssportstiming.com for results.
