Road Hawg fans and supporters, as all of you know, we have been dealing
with a global pandemic these last few months. Michigan in particular was one
of the harder hit states within the US. As such, we have been and continue
to live under stay at home directives from the Michigan governor. Many of
you have probably been wondering what will be happening with the race this
year. Up until now, the Road Hawg committee has been keeping an eye on the
situation, evaluating our options and genuinely hoping that the situation
would improve. While there is a good chance that the stay at home directive
will be lifted in time for the original scheduled date of the race, many of
our sponsors and donors were hit hard financially due to all the closures,
and therefore will not be able to support the Road Hawg this year.
About This Race
Run at the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base and experience a view that not many people get to see. Our 5K course takes you on a tour of the main base while the 10K course takes you across a bridge into the quieter and more scenic part of the base that includes some additional running surfaces such as crushed rock and packed dirt. In addition, this is a closed course, so there's no traffic to worry about.
