Fluffy Unicorn 5K Color Walk or Run

The Fluffy Unicorn is back and will be even more colorful this year! Please join us May 9th, 2020, for our 2nd Annual Fluffy Unicorn 5K Color Walk or Run. We plan on having more color along the route and a color party at the end of the race. There will also be a contest for most spirited fluffy unicorn, the top three people will win a $25 gift card.

Bay City Academy's Fluffy Unicorn 5K Walk and Run is a fundraiser for the athletics program at Bay City Academy. Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, the Fluffy Unicorn 5K is a 3.1 mile (5K), untimed event in which participants are doused from head to toe in different colors. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:

Wear white at the starting line or dress up like a unicorn!

Finish plastered in color!

Our race varies in demographics and reasons for running. With no winners or official times, The Fluffy Unicorn 5K caters to everyone—first time runners to seasoned athletes. Two dollars of the registration fee will go towards Relay for Life which is the following weekend. The registration fee is $35 which includes a unique medal and t-shirt.

The event is open for online registration and will stay open until May 2nd; in person registration will be Friday, May 8th, from 4pm-7pm, and before the race on Saturday, May 9th. Friday, May 8th, will be packet and t-shirt pickup from 4pm-7pm at Bay City Academy Gym, 301 N Farragut St, Bay City, MI. BRING YOUR EVENT TICKET TO VERIFY YOUR SHIRT SIZE!

Race starts at 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2020.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes! This is how we will verify the shirt size you ordered. We want to make sure everyone gets the shirt they ordered!
