Faith, Family, Fitness 5K

The Faith, Family, Fitness 5K run/walk will take place on the eve of the 29th Annual Rubber Ducky Festival in Bellaire, MI. The race begins at 9:00pm, as the sun sets over beautiful Bellaire, and runners and walkers will enjoy glow in the dark décor as they navigate their way around town!

The Faith, Family, Fitness 5K is unsurprisingly focused on faith, family, and fitness. We believe that Christians should be engaged in their communities, and so we want to giveback to our community. And so, as part of your registration fee, we're asking every runner and walker to bring a bag of non-perishable foods for the Bellaire Food Pantry. If you're a part of a local church, let us know, as we'll have a special prize for the church that donates the most amount of food! Our desire is also to see families out running and walking together. Stay up late and enjoy the beauty of a summer's night in northern Michigan! And last, but not least, our 5K is about encouraging others to get up, get out, and get active. We'll have some strength and conditioning challenges before the 5K starts, and a portion of registration costs will go to support the Bellaire Cross Country program, which is looking to continue its streak of Michigan State Meet qualifiers this fall.

Cost: $20 per person ($25 for Late Registration)

Why you should run: Who doesn’t love a glow-in-the-dark 5K?!? Oh yeah, 40% of each registration goes to the Bellaire Cross-Country Program, AND on race day, each participant is encouraged to bring a bag of non-perishable foods that will be given to the Bellaire Food Pantry.

Awards Info: Awards will be given to overall male and female winners, masters’ winners, and top 3 in each age group (U-10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).

Important Dates/Times:

• Register by August 17th to be guaranteed an awesome t-shirt!
• Early Registration will end at 9:00pm on August 18th (All entries received after will be considered Late Registrations).
• Packet Pick-Up will begin at 7:00pm on August 19th at the Bellaire Community Hall.
