There are two options for the race this year in an effort to follow COVID-19 guidelines and accommodate your personal comfort level.
1. The In-Person Run. The first 100 people registered will be permitted to run on our Kirk in the Hills 5K course, Saturday, Nov 7 at 9AM. To see COVID-19 restrictions click here
2. The Virtual Run. Our virtual run option allows you to participate in our Green Bucket Run, and support Accent Pontiac, from the comfort and safety of the time and location of your choice (neighborhood sidewalks, running tracks, trails, etc...).
Both options give you the opportunity to support Accent Pontiac and be active outside!
It is a 3.1-mile, USATF-certified 5K course beginning at Kirk in the Hills to the sound of the church bells ringing, following Kirkway Road in a fall tour around Island Lake. USATF Certification Code: MI19027MN

Please note that this is a road course and will be on the road/right side of the road, with the exception of West Long Lake Road where runners will be on the sidewalk until crossing onto Kirkway Road at the traffic light. Police will be at the crossing of Kirkway Road onto West Long Lake Road, and at the traffic light to assist runners in crossing West Long Lake onto Kirkway Road.
We will have volunteers along the course and a van available to pick up anyone in the event they cannot finish the race.
