Description
Join Running Lab & Altra for a free demo run & Earth Day trail stewardship Plogging event!
What IS Plogging? In Sweden environmentally conscious runners have taken to collecting litter during their runs, dubbing the aerobically taxing and trash-consolidating activity “plogging,” a portmanteau of “jogging” and “plucking.”
For this event, we ask that you demo a pair of Altra shoes and pick up any litter you find out on the trail or in the parking lot. The person that brings the most back with them will win a FREE pair of Altra shoes!
Altra will be bringing the Lone Peak, Timp & Superior shoe styles to demo!
We'll meet in the parking lot of the Bishop Lake Trailhead @ Brighton Recreation Area. Demo starts at 9am, get there a few minutes early to secure your shoe size.
