Don’t miss this opportunity to learn bike skills former captain of the U.S. Postal Service Cycling Team and nine-time veteran of the Tour de France, Frankie Andreu
Frankie Andreu is one of the most popular and well- respected names in American professional cycling. In 2000, he retired after a 12-year career and can now be seen every July during the Outdoor Life Network’s Tour de France coverage.
We are fortunate to be able to offer this opportunity to you!
This 3-hour clinic is for the beginner through advanced rider looking to increase cycling knowledge and improve performance. Participants will be separated into small groups based on experience and rotate through stations including the following:
- Bike comfort, general skills, helmet fitting
- Bike safety check, equipment wear-down
- Flat tire changing, removing and re-attaching wheel
- Riding safety, cornering and U-turn, dodging obstacles, emergency braking, shifting, looking over shoulder, picking up water bottle
- Sprinting, standing in pedals, making contact
- Pack riding, drafting, protecting the front wheel, pace line, echelon-ing
- Training techniques
