SATURDAY: The REI Frosty Freestyle Race

Saturday's REI Frosty Freestyle cross country ski race will have skate and classic divisions for both the 5K and the 15K race. Choose your technique and distance! Want a challenge? Do the 15K! A little unsure or want a shorter distance? Do the 5K! The Frosty is a FABULOUS beginner's race!

This year we also offer shorter distance races for kids 11 and younger: the SELCRA Kid's Frosty Race.

The Frosty Freestyle entry fee includes lunch, chip timing, age group awards, goodie bags, feeds on the race course, door prizes, and a T-shirt (for those 12 and older) or a medal (kids 11 and under). This is the BIG RACE!

The 5K race is a Michigan Cup Fun Series Race; the 15k event is a Michigan Cup Race. Sponsored by REI in Ann Arbor, Northvlle and Troy.

Krazy Klassic 8/12K Ski Race

Classic ski race on a double-tracked course that winds through the woods at Huron Meadows Metropak. The 8K race is two laps around a 4k loop; the 12k is three laps. Racers start two at a time every 15 seconds. The 8K race is a Michigan Cup Fun Series Race; the 12k event is a Michigan Cup Race.
