Description
8th Annual Ryan Shay MidSummer Night Run. A Central Lake, Mighigan 4th of July event held in memory of Ryan Shay a world class athlete who died from sudden heart failure 5.5 miles into the 2007 New York City Olympic Marathon trial. Ryan grew up in Central Lake and, while living there, ran virtually every road, hill, and byway in its beautiful surroundings. Come join the running commraderie of others in a 5K, 10K, or 1 mile ice cream fun run and after dusk watch one of the most beautiful firework displays in Northern Michigan.
