Description
In 2018, more than 500 participants from Chelsea, Dexter, Jackson and the surrounding areas participated in Heart & Sole. Through community support for this event, SJMC's Heart and Sole race engaged the community in health and wellness and supported a worthy cause. This year's Heart & Sole race will include a 10K, 5K, 2 mile run/walk and kid fun run. Racers will be on paved surfaces for all race routes, which is great for our participants with strollers, wheelchairs or other physical adaptive devices. Our 2019 goals are to encourage physical fitness and community connections among area residents, raise awareness and funding for safe, recreational walking paths.
