Welcome to the 43rd running at beautiful Clark Lake.
You will enjoy our USATF certified courses that encompass the lake on gently rolling hills with breathtaking lake front views. Come see why we have been selected as one of Michigan’s premier summer races. Our post race party and award ceremony on the Beach Bar patio is one to enjoy. All races will be chipped timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. The proceeds from this event will be used for the continued progress and maintenance of the Thomas R. Collins Memorial Spirit Trail.

This race is part of the 2018 Jackson Race Series - Be Healthy. Be One of Us. Be Strong. Feel Free.
The Series’ mission is to provide incentives and opportunities for Jackson and surrounding communities to get fit and active.
There are nine races in the series (Ground Hog Gallop is not used for points). Participants in each race earn points toward the series, so there is added incentive for people to enter. This race is endorsed by The Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and part of the 2018 Michigan Fitness Foundation Challenge. The challenge encourages Michiganders to engage with events that promote physical activity, health and wellness. You will receive a FIT point for every endorsed event you participate in or volunteer for from January 1, 2018 until December 31st, 2018.
