Description
This event is a family friendly 5K run/walk benefiting the Michigan Police Unity Team to assist in reaching our fundraising goals. The 5k run/walk course is through the scenic DeWitt high school cross country course located at the DeWitt high school. Awards to top male and female overall winners, top male and female master winners, and top 3 in each age group. Register by September 23rd to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Group/Family discount - Sign up 3 or more people by September 30th and receive $3 off per participant. Valid for all events.
Eat a DONUT receive a faster time!! 5K runners will be professionally chip timed and receive a time deduction for each donut they eat!!
The bike ride will be at noon following the race. The ride will be 15 miles at a 12-14 MPH pace.
Packet pick up Saturday Oct. 6th between 10am and 2pm from Cops & Doughnuts. 6427 Centurion Drive, Lansing, Michigan 48917. You may also pick up your packet and register for the race on Sunday morning October 7th starting at 8:00 AM.

The Michigan Police Unity Team (MIPUT) was founded in 2014 with two members and has grown to 31, currently. Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for groups affiliated with Law Enforcement Officers who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty, and to support the survivors. These groups include, but are not limited to: The Police Unity Tour, Concerns Of Police Survivors (COPS), the Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (MILEOM), Back the Blue and others.
The Michigan Police Unity Team consists of police officers from the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, Lansing Police Department, Michigan State University Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Dewitt Township Police Department, Carson City Police Department and Michigan State Police.
