PIKE 5th Annual Delta Nu 5k

The Delta Nu Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was founded at Wayne State University in February of 1950, and since then we have had a marked and lasting presence on the campus and surrounding area. The chapter lives by a set of values which are “S.L.A.G,” or Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentlemen. For the past 12 years, Delta Nu has been one of the top chapters in the country, winning 11 of the past 12 Chapter Top-Excellence Awards which are awarded to the top 5% of the more than 220 chapters of Pi Kappa Alpha in the U.S. and Canada. Serving the community is one of our main goals, and this has shown in our surrounding community. In the last year alone, we helped to raise over $150,000 dollars for local organizations, as well as over 19,500 hours of community service.

Event Info

The event is in honor of our brother Joseph Sazyc III who passed away in 2012 from brain cancer; 100% of the proceeds will be going to the American Brain Tumor Association, in his memory.
The event will take place this coming Spring 2015!

The event will begin at the Engineering building on the corner of Warren and Anthony Wayne Drive. Here there will be a Sign-In table as well as warm-up music and t-shirts available.

The cost to register for the event is $25 to run/walk(with out t-shirt), and $35 to include an event t-shirt. Group pricing is $25 to run/walk with an event t-shirt and you must sign up at least 10 people to receive this pricing. You do not have to pay for your registration when you fill out the registration form on the website. There will also be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for both men’s and women’s division.
