Q) What is a Virtual Turkey Trot?
In a virtual race, you can run where you want, when you want, and with the people you choose! Thanksgiving is the biggest running date of the year with turkey trots all over the country. With a virtual turkey trot, you can have your very own right outside your door.
Q) Do I need a GPS watch or fancy equipment to participate in America’s Turkey Trot?
No, you don't... but you can record and upload your results if you wish.
Q) What do I get for participating?
Bib, shirt, medal, and gloves!
Q) When do I need to run the race?
We encourage you to run on Thanksgiving, but with a virtual race if that date doesn’t work you can still participate. You can run when you want where you want!
Q) When will I get my gear?
Gear will be mailed on a rolling basis until 8 days before Thanksgiving.
Q) What’s the course?
That’s up to you! Pick your favorite local route, head to a park or run on the treadmill.
