Description
Join Michigan Parkinson Foundation for the 8th Annual "I Gave My Sole for Parkinson's" 5K Run or Walk at our NEW VENUE FOR 2017 . . . MSU Campus at The Auditorium (near The Rock). The 5K is a timed race and will use MSU's certified 5K West Course along the beautiful Red Cedar River.
Event Information
"I Gave My Sole for Parkinson's" is a team / pledge event that supports Michigan Parkinson Foundation (MPF). The event is a fun family event with entertainment, healthy snacks, activities for kids and a health fair exhibit.
The event features the option to participate in the timed 5K Run, or chose between a 3 Mile or 1 Mile Walk Route.
Registration opens at 9:00 am
Opening Ceremony at 10:15 am
5K Run Begins at 10:30 am (walk immediately following)
The funds raised will enable MPF to continue to provide patient education programs, medical symposiums, support group facilitator training, updates on the latest treatment options, research grants, legal assistance, referrals and patient resources.
