Join us for the East Lansing Educational Foundation’s inaugural Trojan Trails 5K, a special community run/walk taking place the day before school is back in session! This exciting kickoff to the school year brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters for a fun and meaningful morning.

Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply soaking in the scenic trail, every step you take helps support innovative programs and new opportunities for students in East Lansing. It’s more than a race—it’s a celebration of fitness, community, and education all in one.

We welcome participants of all ages and abilities, including East Lansing Public Schools students, educators, administrators, parents, extended families, and the broader community.

The race will be held at the East Lansing Soccer/Cross Country Complex, on the home course of the East Lansing High School boys and girls teams. The course features a mix of grass and trail terrain, offering a true cross country experience—and the high school teams will be there to cheer you on along the way!
