The Farmington Founders Festival LOC Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 21 in beautiful Downtown Farmington. This 5k fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through Shiawassee Park and Downtown Farmington.
This race has something for everyone. If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k with age group medals for awards. There will be four color stations throughout the race route and there will be enough room to breeze straight past them if color is not your thing. The entry fee includes a t-shirt. For those signing up after July 16, we cannot guarantee runner shirts.
If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and color!) along the way then this race is for you. Participants will receive a finisher's medal and there will be refreshments waiting for you at the end.
Packet pick up is race day only at Shiawassee Park starting at 7:30 am with the run beginning at 9:00 am.
If you do not pre-register, you can sign up for the race on race day starting at 7:30 am. Race day fee is $30.
The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.

This race is endorsed by The Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and part of the 2018 Michigan Fitness Foundation Challenge. The challenge encourages Michiganders to engage with events that promote physical activity, health and wellness. You will receive a FIT point for every endorsed event you participate in or volunteer for from January 1, 2018 until December 31st, 2018.
