Description
9th Annual Port Oneida Run/walk fundraiser!
Proceeds help preserve the historic buildings and landscapes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Choose your race between the Farmers Flat and Fast 5K, Homesteaders Hardcore 5K, and Tiller's 10K. Kids' Schoolhouse Dash. Walkers welcome. Each course winds through the beautiful scenery of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore's Port Oneida Rural Historic District 3 miles north of Glen Arbor. With its historic farms and barns, Port Oneida is hailed as “one of the most prized historic landscapes in the country”. Afterwards, take a swim on the beautiful beaches down the road. Proud to be part of the Traverse City Track Club’s 2018 Grand Prix Series.
