Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run

Welcome to the Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run!

The inaugural Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run, hosted by the Michigan Sports Alliance and Grand Rapids Comic Con, is open to all ages, heroes, and villains alike! Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character and channel their inner running hero. This event is all about FUN - it will take place at the beautiful Riverside Park in downtown Grand Rapids and will not be timed. The first 500 participants will be awarded specialty event medals, t-shirts, and enjoy other race perks!

There will be a Kids Fun Run/Walk (1/4 mile), the 5K Run/Walk, and a virtual 5K. The Kids Fun Run/Walk will be for ages 4-12.

The purpose of this run is to have fun! With that, this will be an untimed event. We suggest self-timing if participants want a finish time.

Heroes Discount

Discount for the 5K and virtual 5K available for military, medical personnel, protective service workers (fire, police and EMTs) and teachers. Email info@michigansportsalliance.org with your place of work to receive a discount code. 

Other Details

To receive a custom bib and be guaranteed a t-shirt, you must register by Sunday, October 31st, 2021.

The first 500 registrants will receive a medal.

No dogs will be allowed on the course.

Discounts cannot be applied once you have already registered.
