Description
2013 Race was "kick off" race in the Michigan Runner of Year Series!
Race endorsed by Governor's Council on Physical Fitness - entrants to Winter Blast can enter 2014 Mackinac Bridge Run Lottery.
5th Annual 5K. Flat, fast, accurate, each mile marked, lots of raffle prizes and food after, indoor finish, over 250 runners. Competitive fields - 2012 & 2013 races won by MI Runner of Year winners Kris Koster and Nick Stanko. Women's course record set by Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifier - Katie Jazwinsiki. 50+ volunteers. A race put on "by runners for runners".
City of Grandville in 2013 gave us dry salted roads despite 2" of snow that night! We will do our best to ensure a fast course for all runners!
