4th Annual Juneteenth Freedom 5K – Running, Community & Wellness

The Juneteenth Freedom 5K offers runners and walkers a unique experience through Holland’s historic Core City neighborhood, starting and ending at Maple Avenue Ministries.

This 5K kicks off Holland’s Juneteenth celebration, encouraging our neighbors to embrace healthier lifestyles while fostering meaningful connections.

The race provides a welcoming introduction for beginners while offering an exciting challenge for experienced runners. We encourage individuals of all ages and abilities to participate.

Participants can also join virtually and earn a commemorative race medal, regardless of their race-day attendance.

Our 2027 event marks four years of celebrating freedom, unity, and wellness in one of West Michigan’s most historic neighborhoods. We look forward to creating lasting memories and bringing people together for another meaningful Juneteenth 5k  celebration!
