3rd Annual Shauna Smith Heroes 5K Trail Run /Walk or 2K Trail Walk

Join us for the 3rd Annual Shauna Smith Heroes 5K & 2K on Saturday, October 10, 2026, as we come together to honor first responders, cancer warriors, and the incredible strength of our community. Hosted by Shields of Hope, this event is more than just a race — it is a day to celebrate heroes, remember loved ones, and support those facing cancer.

Participants can choose between the 5K Run/Walk or 2K Walk, making this event perfect for runners, walkers, families, and supporters of all ages. This scenic trail course takes participants through the beautiful trails with a few fun challenges along the way — including a hill that will test your strength and determination! Whether you are racing for a personal best or simply walking in support of someone you love, every step helps provide hope, encouragement, and tangible support to local families battling cancer and other serious illnesses.

New this year: the race will officially be timed for participants wanting race results and personal finish times.
